Dubai Indian Islamic Centre " 20 years of exellence achievements in Charity Programmes". U.A.E. is considered as Mini India by virtue of its open-handed and pluralistic population
configuration. Unity in diversity- the Indian ethos is very much
apparent in the UAE society.Indian (Muslim) community
constitutes a prominent and strong segment of UAE’s population.The sizeable representations of Indian
Muslims prompted some Muslim ideologues and intellectuals to
form a common platform to keep them knit together and seek a
unified approach for tackling the multifarious personal and
collective problems. |

One visionary and sincere gentleman Mr.P.T. Abdul Rahman took
the initiative and moved forward to establish Dubai Indian
Islamic Centre in 1992, commonly known as DIIC. It was by no
means easy accomplishment under the constraints put by the
Government and in view of the divergent socio-economic back
grounds of India Muslims hailed from different states and
regions of India. Thanks to Allah and determination of its
founder and promoters, the Islamic Centre is functioning since
past 16 years satisfactorily serving the Expatriates community
living in Dubai and other emirates. It (DIIC) enjoys the
confidence of the Muslim community on the one hand, it receives
full co-operation of the Government of Dubai and the Indian
Consulate.

The name of Dubai Indian Islamic Centre has been further
glorified and gleamed, when it received the letter of
appreciation from the then President of UAE and the then Ruler
of Dubai, in recognition of the community services being
rendered by DIIC. |

Main Objective To forge unity and enhance cooperation,
coordination and social interactions among the associations
working in Dubai with an objective to pursue effectively the
policies and programs of common interest and mutual concern
through collective efforts
To
impart and implement the multipurpose value-based programs
related with the health, hygiene, educational, social, cultural
and economic upliftment of under privileged society with special
thrust on women empowerment.

teachings of Islam free of polemics and sectarianism by
conducting religious programs, establishing model Madrasa
blended with modern curriculum and running Centers for learning
and memorizing of Holy Quran in order to foster the feelings of
fraternity and universal brotherhood among all human beings
relevant to modern needs of pluralistic society and global
village
Promote knowledge dissemination, art
& craft, skill development and vocational training, establishing
career guidance and personality development centers to help
seeking employments and building careers of young generation in
India and abroad
To
Pay School Fess and award scholarship for needy students of
primary and professional schools and colleges with a view to
promoting education and preventing dropout

Scope. DIIC is a non- profit making, non
political and non-regional voluntary socio-religious
organization registered with the Government of Dubai, Department
of Islamic Affairs & Charity Activities.
It is an umbrella body under which all the Indian Muslim working
in Dubai make efforts to come closer and closer, seek solutions
to their day to day problems with the single motto of unity,
integrity and enhancement of their social and cultural relations
among themselves, and most importantly, conducting their
behaviors strictly in accordance with the Islamic and Quranic
teachings and guidance. The centre lays emphasis on this aspect
of piety along with abiding by the laws of the land,
homogeneity, unity and honesty and loyalty in their daily
routines.
Mechanism Of Association.We
make fervent appeal to the Muslim expat community to unite under
the banner of Dubai IIndian Islamic Centre. The Centre does not
have any permanent source of income. It provides services purely
on non-commercial basis through the financial support of
sponsors who take up / adopt particular projects or programs for
public interest and financially support them. The entire
services are executed and administered by the team-work of
dedicated office staff and members of the working committee.
Appeal. The DIIC looks forward to welcoming the rich and generous people
to lend their whole hearted support by endorsing and sponsoring
the programs and policies towards running and developing the
DIIC Office enabling it to support and help the community more
and more. We also make the earnest request to experienced,
resourceful and knowledgeable people to encourage us with their
invaluable suggestions and facilitate strengthening our cause by
joining and sharing the responsibilities voluntarily. Your
sharing of the responsibilities as team members will surely
enhance our capabilities to run the organization efficiently and
help shaping the future of DIIC.
Membership. The Centre invites Indian Muslims to be members of DIIC. (Form
attached hereto) and also Muslim organizations to affiliate with
DIIC to give them legal coverage. The management reserves the
right for approval of membership application. GENERAL BODY:

representatives, Area representatives and active members.

Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors. |
